Move It for Mental Health is a Mind HK project that looks to promote mental wellbeing through physical activity and get people moving!
With public events, as well as school, university and corporate collaborations, we aim to inspire participants of all ages and abilities to stay active, connect with others, and make a positive impact on both our mind and body. Get moving for your mood!
Join our summer Virtual Challenge

From June 17th-26th, 2025
Join Mind HK’s wellbeing challenge ‘How Far Can You Go’, to move it for your mood, and see how many kilometres you can cover in 10 days!
Even in warmer summer months, you can keep moving to feel happier and healthier. Achieve your goal by swimming, walking, rowing, running, paddle boarding, cycling, kayaking and more!

Set up a fundraising page on Give.Asia for your ‘Move It’ challenge, and support Mind HK’s programmes to improve mental health care in Hong Kong. If you raise over 1,000 HKD you will enter our lucky draw, and special awards are available for the following categories:

- Move It Influencer – for fundraising campaign with the most backers

How to fundraise:
1 . Visit the Mind HK page on Give.Asia – give.asia/charity/mind-hk
2 . Scroll down and select “START FUNDRAISING”
3 . Select “Take part in an event”
4 . Give your challenge a name, e.g. “Charlotte takes on 50km for mental health”
5 . Enter your fundraising target in HKD (this can be changed later)
6 . Add a picture as a banner image. Photographs of you will help to boost your fundraising as it’s more personal. You can always go back and add some pictures later
7 . Add a few words about why you are fundraising for Mind HK and why you care about mental health. Your friends and family will love to see what motivates you, so this will help with your fundraising!
8 . Create an easy to remember URL and save it somewhere handy, so you can easily send it to your network
9 . Press “PUBLISH YOUR CAMPAIGN” and you are live! Any donations will go direct to Mind HK
