This service is suitable for people looking to improve their mental health or facing various emotional challenges.
Who is this for:
- Hong Kong residents aged 18 – 65
- Individuals experiencing mild to moderate emotional distress
Those looking to improve their mental health - Currently (or previously) not diagnosed with severe or complex mental health conditions
- Not currently receiving any form of psychological counselling
What is mild to moderate emotional distress?
- Low mood (e.g. mild to moderate depression)
- Stress (eg. work or relationship matters)
- Anxiety (e.g. generalised anxiety, mild social anxiety)
- Low self-esteem
- Highly-critical/over-perfectionist traits
- Facing concentration issues at work
- Or other emotional struggles you're currently facing...

How does the iACT service work?
Overview of sessions 1-6 (adult service)
Since 2023, the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) and Youth Wellbeing Practitioner (YWP) programmes have been renamed as the Improving Access to Community Therapies (iACT®) programme. Correspondingly, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners are now officially titled Wellbeing Practitioners (心理健康主任).
