We are excited to announce the appointment of Ms. Charlotte Tottenham as Mind HK’s first-ever Acting Chief Development Officer (CDO), effective immediately.

Charlotte’s appointment comes at a formative time as Mind HK enters its sixth year of operation and experiences exponential growth, expanding its programmes and reach.

Charlotte brings a wealth of experience in leading developmental strategies and fostering partnerships locally in Hong Kong and internationally. Her prior experience in journalism, social enterprise, and charity sectors, coupled with her dedication to improving mental health awareness and support, make her an ideal fit to navigate this new role.

“As Acting CDO, Charlotte will play a pivotal role in aligning our development efforts with our strategic goals, fostering partnerships, and spearheading fundraising initiatives to support our mission. Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to strive to ensure no one in Hong Kong has to face a mental health problem alone.” – Dr. Candice Powell, CEO, Mind HK

“Since moving to Hong Kong four years ago, I have watched Mind HK’s pioneering work. In six years, the charity has created a rigorous evidence base and changed the conversation on mental health. I believe that our mental health is our health; how we are feeling underpins and influences every aspect of our lives. There is still a huge amount of stigma surrounding our mental health, and we have a long way to go in improving access to care. I love that Mind HK is working hard to change that. I am enormously proud to be joining such a dedicated and accomplished team and can’t wait to see what we can achieve together.” – Charlotte Tottenham, Acting CDO, Mind HK

Supporting the mental health of all cannot be done by just Mind HK; it is a collaborative task requiring stakeholders from varying sectors to work in tandem. With over 200 partnerships under our belt and “collaboration” being a core value at Mind HK, we look forward to expanding and developing many new and existing partnerships across Hong Kong and beyond.

We are delighted to welcome Charlotte Tottenham to our team. We are confident that under her able leadership, our development initiatives will further advance our mission.
