We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Ms Carol Liang, who will be transitioning from Deputy CEO to Board Advisor.
From joining as a volunteer in 2017 to becoming our Deputy CEO, Carol has successfully led Mind HK’s fundraising efforts, digital transformation, communications, and stigma-reduction programmes, guiding our organisation’s strategy and growth. Her deep passion for public health has consistently advanced the conversation around mental health in Hong Kong.
“It’s been an honour to be a part of Mind HK’s story from its early days. I first joined as a volunteer in 2017, drawn by a simple belief that mental health in Hong Kong deserved more attention and more heart. Back then, I would have never imagined that the organisation would become what it is today. Growing with this organisation from the start — watching it find its voice, build its team, and touch lives citywide — has been a personally meaningful experience I will carry forward in so many ways. Mind HK’s story is one of tenacity, boldness, and deep compassion, and I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have been a part of it. Thank you to our staff, board, partners, and wider Mind HK community – you are all what make Mind HK, Mind HK. I look forward to remaining involved in a new capacity, as a Board Advisor, and am excited to see where the story goes from here.” – Ms Carol Liang
We are immensely grateful for her dedication over the past 9 years and for her guidance through every high and low. As she embarks on new adventures, Carol will transition to the role of Board Advisor and will always be a cherished member of the Mind HK team.
