We are incredibly grateful for all your continued trust and support, which has allowed us to significantly scale our impact in 2025. We are delighted to share exciting updates on the evolution of Mind HK’s leadership and team.
As we move forward into 2026, our sector faces a complex and changing environment—including persistent stigma, increasing demand for accessible mental health support, a challenging fundraising landscape, and evolving technological advances. To ensure Mind HK continues to navigate these complexities with resilience and vision, our senior management team will continue to align our work with our ambitious 2025–2027 strategy, built around four key pillars: Educate, Reach, Bridge, and Service.
New Leadership and Team Appointments
In line with our strategic direction and growth, we are pleased to officially welcome two outstanding new members to our leadership team. These newly created roles mark an exciting new phase for Mind HK as we refine our strategy and strengthen our ability to respond to community needs. Both new appointees bring expertise that will be instrumental to Mind HK’s sustained growth and innovation:
Ms Karen Lau, Chief Programme Officer
- Karen is a seasoned, passionate marketing professional who joined Mind HK as Chief Programme Officer in September 2025. With extensive corporate and philanthropic experience across the insurance, banking, and telecommunications sectors, she has a proven record of driving successful programmes and leading dynamic teams. Karen is eager to leverage her marketing expertise to drive meaningful and positive impact in the mental health space, harnessing her skills to foster growth and innovation in this vital area. You may contact her at karenkf.lau@mind.org.hk.
Mr Ting Kwong Sham, Head of Technology and Digital Transformation
Before joining the team in the summer of 2025, Kwong founded his own company dedicated to empowering NGOs of varying scales, including TWGHs, A Drop of Life, and Project WeCan. Drawing on his entrepreneurial spirit and technical expertise, he has successfully led initiatives that drive digital transformation across the non-profit sector. Kwong is passionate about leveraging his experience to maximise operational efficiency and ensure that every effort delivers meaningful impact to beneficiaries. You may contact him at kwong.sham@mind.org.hk.
We also have two key updates regarding our Fundraising and Partnerships Team:
- Our Chief Development Officer, Ms Charlotte Tottenham, has recently started her maternity leave. We send her our best wishes during this special time and look forward to welcoming her back in autumn 2026.
- We are pleased to welcome Ms Godi Li to the team as Senior Manager, Fundraising and Partnerships, for the coming year to support this vital function. Godi is a seasoned fundraising professional with experience at various local and international NGOs, including KELY Support Group and The Fred Hollows Foundation. Her support will be invaluable during this period. You may contact Godi at godi.li@mind.org.hk.
Looking Ahead
As we look ahead, Mind HK is committed to elevating the quality and impact of our core programmes and embracing artificial intelligence (AI) and other digital innovations to further expand and enhance our services. The evolution of technology and the need for scalable, high-impact programmes create both great opportunities and new dilemmas for the sector. With the enhanced expertise in our team, particularly in programme excellence and digital transformation, Mind HK will continue to navigate this fast-changing landscape responsibly, ensuring our community benefits from higher quality, more accessible, and more impactful support for mental health and wellbeing.
Thank you for your continued support as we advance mental health for all. We wish you all a happy, healthy, and peaceful close to 2025 and a positive year to come in 2026.
