What is this?

In response to the recent tragedies and their impact on our mental health, Mind HK has developed a public webinar to address various impacts of the vicarious trauma that affects community members in Hong Kong.

Vicarious trauma refers to the emotional, psychological and physical impact experienced by individuals who are exposed to a traumatic experience of others. The 1-hour webinar delivered in English, focuses on understanding the ways in which traumatic events can affect our mental health, and the implications at both societal and individual levels. It provides tips on supporting oneself through self-care practices and emphasises the importance of supporting others during challenging times. Additionally, the webinar offers information on where to seek help and access professional assistance for those in need. Register here
