After a well-established senior career spanning more than 20 years in financial advisory, corporate financial and investigative due diligence in the commercial sector, Eugenia re-focused her efforts on strategic and venture philanthropy, social innovation and social entrepreneurship in 2016. As the former CEO of a Hong Kong- based registered charitable organisation addressing venture philanthropy and impact investment, Eugenia advised non-profit organisations and social enterprise start-ups, working on different social challenges in Hong Kong e.g. poverty alleviation, active ageing, social inclusion, adapting technology for good. Since 2019, Eugenia oversaw a HKSAR government-funded incubator for social purpose organisations tackling local poverty and social inclusion issues. In her other capacities, Eugenia remains closely engaged with the local social sector through various partnerships with different HKSAR government-funded incubators, private foundations and key players in Hong Kong’s impact sector. Core themes in her work are philanthropy and impact advisory, fundraising for social purpose organisations and programme design.
