The Centre promotes trauma-informed care and practice for children and their families that have been affected by traumatic experiences. It provides children and young people aged 3 to 21 with psychological treatment services to address the negative yet profound impact traumas have caused to their physical and mental health.
This three-year project is funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. It aims to serve those families faced with parent-child communication difficulties or those who want to enhance their parent-child communication ability.
The Youthline is a hotline funded by the Social Welfare Department that provides counselling services for children and youth between 6 and 24 years old. The hotline’s purpose is to offer emotional support and companionship to children and youth facing various life challenges (such as academic pressure, school life, peer relationships, and family issues), enhancing their ability to solve difficulties. It also provides emergency support for youth who are in crisis and stress.
DSE offers services for DSE students, including a counselling hotline, academic guidance, resources and seminars.
The Wellness Mind Centre promotes and supports youth development by organising various workshops and joint-school summer programmes to advocate youth wellness.
uTouch provides online youth counselling services on different platforms and various outreach services and themed activities to raise awareness on youth-related topics. Open Up is a 24-hour online texting service for individuals aged 6 – 24 to share their feelings and talk to someone in a safe space. It is designed specifically to cater to the needs of young people experiencing emotional distress from interpersonal relationships and academic stress.
Service engages young people aged 6-24 to share the joy of life and provide life education.
Service promotes personal development such as character and confidence building through adventure and outdoor programs
