Psychological assessment and consultation services
The clinical psychologists of the center will arrange appropriate treatment for the patient and provide support to the relatives of the patient. The clinical psychologists and staff of the center will use the hotline or meet to make a preliminary diagnosis and explain to the people in need. Gambling counselling services provides case management and family counselling, group counselling, financial and legal consultation services to gamblers and their family. Through individual, family or group therapy to understand the addictive behaciour, and assisst individual to understand their deeper needs.
Project BLESS supports individuals who have lost their loved ones to suicide, by providing bereavement counselling services, mutual support groups and programmes, volunteer development services, and community wide education resources.
The family-based programme aims to assist family of elderly with suicide ideation/ who are experiencing mental health distress, or distressed carers, by improving their skills in taking care of the elderly, to provide strong supporting network between elderlies with suicide ideation and their family. The programme also aims to raise public awareness on elderly’s mental health.
Service provides emergency and short-term residential care for children or young people experiencing family crises. Please contact the centre for further information.
