World Mental Health Day Call for Volunteers
Sign up today!

We are seeking volunteers to help give out a bilingual Ways to Wellbeing flyer on World Mental Health Day on Wednesday, October 10.

Mind HK believes no one should face a mental health problem alone. The 5 ways to wellbeing are a start to self care and we hope promoting them will get people talking about mental health. Moreover, evidence suggests small improvements in wellbeing can help decrease mental health problems and help people flourish.

We need volunteers to help hand out flyers during the below time slots at various locations.

Time slots:
12-2pm and 6-8pm

Locations:
Far East Finance Centre
Sino Plaza
The Centrium
Lee Tung Avenue

To register, please email [email protected] and specify you preferred time slot(s) and location(s) for October 10th. We will then provide you with further details and direction.

World Mental Health Day volunteers may attend Mind HK’s Mental Health Literacy and Orientation training on October 13th for FREE. This course provides an introduction to mental health and covers mental health services in HK, case studies, and more. We will provide a registration code upon confirmation of volunteering.

Distributing the “Ways to Wellbeing” flyer is a collaborative effort between Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service, KELY Support Group, New Life Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, OCD & Anxiety Support HK, SENPHA, The Mental Health Association of Hong Kong, The Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong, The Samaritans Hong Kong, The Weez Project, and Mind HK.

Any questions, please email [email protected].
