Emotions are just the way they are. Whether they are positive or negative, they deserve our attention and care. When you or your loved ones feel down, what would you do? Would you try to push the thoughts, feelings, and emotions away or accept it?
Your mental health does matter. However, there is still much more for us to learn in this area. We are inviting you to join the first Manulife x Mind HK Your Mental Health Matters event with 2 sessions to know more about techniques for managing our own and others’ emotions.
Benjamin Au Yeung (Ben Sir), a scholar in Linguistics with over 30 years of teaching experience and also a TV host and actor, will join us to talk more about mental health. He has been actively working with schools and other organisations to raise awareness on youth mental health through talks and events. In addition, Candice, Mind HK’s CEO and clinical psychologist, and Opal, our very own clinical advisor and counselling psychologist will be there to share useful tips for handling emotions from a professional perspective.
