SUMMARY:More Than a Label anti-stigma project 5th anniversary exhibition: Refraction – A Journey of Our Mind
DESCRIPTION:Mind HK’s More Than a Label (MTAL) anti-stigma campaign will hold its fifth annual exhibition in April 2026. Titled “Refraction – A Journey of Our Mind”\, the exhibition uses the metaphor of light refracting into a rainbow to symbolise the diversity of mental health experiences and the hope of recovery. \n\n\n\n\nDesigned like a maze\, the exhibition is divided into four interactive zones that together form a collective storytelling journey. We hope to use art as an entry point for the public to explore the multi-dimensions of mental health\, invite personal reflection\, and inspire visitors to take away messages of resonance and positivity to share with family and friends. \n  \n\n\n\n\nExhibition details \nDate: 13-26 April 2026 \nTime: 11 am-7 pm daily opening hours \nVenue: The Rotunda\, Exchange Square\, Central \nTicket: Free-of-charge \n  \n\n\nThis year’s exhibition also features community engagement art events for schools and NGOs\, guided tours\, and weekend sharing sessions that connect the public with people with lived experience and encourage more open conversations about mental health\, welcome to sign up for the event. \n  \n\n\n\n\nFree Weekend Exhibition Guided Tour and Ambassador Story-sharing Events: \nDate: 18\, 19\, 25 & 26 April \nTime: 3 pm – 4:30 pm \nMeet Up Point: The Rotunda\, Exchange Square\, Central \nClick here for more details.

SUMMARY:[Manulife x Mind HK] Your Mental Health Matters Event - Supporting Mental Health within the Family
DESCRIPTION:Throughout our past events\, we have received questions about how to support friends or family members going through emotional distress. In traditional Asian households and school settings\, mental wellbeing was rarely discussed. When our loved ones are struggling\, how can we support them? \nIt is natural to feel overwhelmed when someone you love is struggling. We worry about saying the wrong thing or accidentally making things worse. When a family carries this weight of helplessness for too long\, the mental wellbeing of the entire household can be affected. \nOn the flip side\, if we are the one experiencing emotional distress\, how can we gain family understanding while still finding the space to process our feelings? \nWe invite you to join our Manulife x Mind HK “Your Mental Health Matters” event. This time\, we are excited to have YouTubers Agnes @agneswym and Jonas @ly_joxx to share their experiences in supporting each other within the family. Agnes\, a Psychology Master’s graduate\, and Jonas\, who brings the vital perspective of lived experience\, will discuss how they navigated emotional challenges together. Having found strength in family support\, they now co-lead mental health initiatives to raise awareness. Joining them is Opal\, our clinical advisor\, who will provide professional insights on family dynamics and practical ways to support loved ones in distress. \nRegister now before the spots run out! \nDate: 18 March 2025 (Wed)\nTime: 7:00 – 8:30 pm\nVenue: Hong Kong Central Library (Lecture Theatre\, G/F)\, Causeway Bay\nPrice: Free of charge (Each participant is required to pay a deposit of HK$50\, which will be refunded after attending the event\, or you may choose to donate the deposit to Mind HK to support mental health services.)\nLanguage: Cantonese\nRegistration: https://your-mental-health-matters-march18event.eventbrite.hk\nFor more information: events@mind.org.hk \n*This event is organised by Mind HK\, with support from Headline Sponsor Manulife.
