SUMMARY:Mind HK Ambassador Training (November 2024 Cantonese)
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to join our November Cantonese Mind HK Ambassador Training. We are glad to have MINDSET (the Jardine Matheson Group Charity) as our partner and sponsor\, as well as Manulife as our sponsor! This training programme aims to train people living in recovery to share their lived experience in a safe and helpful way in order to destigmatise mental health.  Sign up now (available in Chinese only) \nIf you are a Hong Kong resident aged 20 or above\, have experienced a mental health problem and recovered\, and are looking to share your mental health experience publicly with others to help destigmatise mental health\, join our upcoming Mind HK Ambassador training. \nPlease note that this programme is for individuals who have already been in recovery for at least a year and it is not intended as therapy. Recovery refers to the process in which people are able to live\, work\, learn\, and participate in their communities and many can live well with mental health problems by managing symptoms effectively. Therefore\, we feel that the idea of recovery is subjective to an individual’s judgment. Should your application be successful\, the anti-stigma team will contact you for further clarification. \nThe information you provide will only be seen by the Anti-Stigma Programme team and will be kept confidential. \nDetails of the training sessions are indicated below. \nPlease note that this round of training is only available in Cantonese. Stay tuned for future training! \nDates: Tuesday – 5\, 12\, 19\, 26 November\, 3 December 2024*\n*Participation in all sessions is required to be eligible to be a Mind HK Ambassador. \nTime: 7PM – 9:30PM \nVenue: Mind HK\, 18/F One Capital Place 18 Luard Road Wan Chai\, Hong Kong \nApplication deadline: 18th October 2024 \nApplication link: https://forms.gle/wyM9KVRA3uuXr3qb9 (available in Chinese only) \nFor enquiries\, please email us at antistigma@mind.org.hk .
